The newest addition to our growing family of bamboo plantations is the stunning property located in Aldea Lámpara, Livingston, Izabal, along the Río Dulce -Bambú Lámpara-.

 

This 16-hectare land boasts a breathtaking 150 meters of river frontage, providing also easy access through Martin Creek.

 

We are excited to begin planting Dendrocalamus Asper in July 2023, with companion planting of Plantain, Jackfruit, Ginger, and Yucca.

 

We are dedicated to conserving the endemic hardwood trees that already exist on the property, ensuring that their beauty and ecological value are preserved.

 

This new plantation is poised to become a major contributor to our carbon offset program.
